So here is my version of an Apple iWatch. Hope you like it, and comments are welcome.

Architectural Student of the Year Nominee

I created this image for a friend, who has been nominated as a finalist for the Corobrick National Architectural Student of the Year Awards. The original model was created by him in SketchUp, but was refined and setup for rendering in 3dsmax & Vray.
We went for a slightly stylized look, overexposing the image slightly and adding the transparent people in photoshop.

The building was designed by my friend for his Architectural Final Year Thesis, and is an environmental research facility situated on the great St. Lucia Estuary.
It was designed to have minimal environmental impact, and use as many natural resources, such as solar power, natural air cooling, grass roofs for cooling, reed screens for shade etc, to minimize the impact the structure would have on the surrounding natural bush.
Please let us know what you think.

Smudge

I sketched this piece on paper, scanned it and transferred it to vectors in illustrator. I wanted a nice contrast between the cleanness of vectors and the dirtiness of the background textures. Any comments are welcome. Hope you enjoy the image. Thanks
